Principal Candice Griffin: Every day is a fresh chance to grow, and I believe in starting strong—so I kick things off with a big smile and a voice full of hope on the morning announcements. I share a daily affirmation to help our students set their minds on the good, remind them they belong, and let them know they are deeply loved and capable of greatness. I want every child to feel seen, valued, and inspired before the first bell even rings.

In my daily interactions, I make it a point to lead with love—whether it’s a wave in the hallway, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement. I hold high expectations, not because it's easy, but because I believe in our kids and I know what they’re capable of. I cheer them on through challenges and celebrate their wins, big or small.

I aim to open doors to new experiences.
