Greetings Rugel Family,

The first two weeks of school have been smooth and full of smiles! It has been so great meeting your amazing students. I'm excited for all that’s ahead and look forward to building a strong, joyful community together!

Urgent Information

Device Insurance

Device Fees Due - Friday September 5th

  • Each student PK-12 pays a yearly non-refundable device insurance fee of $20 per device.
  • Families with multiple students, the device insurance fee will not go over $60. 
  • Device insurance fees are due by Friday September 5, 2025
  • Pay $20 to avoid hundreds of dollars in fees for damage or lost devices
  • Fees can be handled online or on campus with a debit/credit card
Leadership Team at Arrival

Late Pick Up Starts September 2, 2025

Starting Tuesday September 2, 2025, students picked up after 3:35 pm will be late pick-up. Review the late pickup expectations:

  • Parent or guardian will be required to enter the building and sign their student out for the day.
  • Parent or guardian must have school issued car tag or show ID to sign out student(s)

Your cooperation on this will ensure staff can be prepared for your students daily and take care of their families.

Diagnostic Testing

  • PreK students will be taking Circle beginning of the year testing for the next two weeks.
  • Kinder thru 5th grade students will be taking iReady beginning of the year testing for the next two weeks
  • Students will take this test beginning, middle, and end of year.
  • Please encourage your student to do their best and take it seriously.
  • These tests will give teachers a clear picture on how to support your child

Grand Parents Day

Goodies with Grands!- Friday September 5th

  • We are excited to welcome our Grandparents to campus to celebrate Grandparents Day!
  • Grandparents will play games, read some books, and eat goodies with their grandbabies!
 
Popcorn with Principal

Popcorn with the Principal- September 17th & 18th

  • Both Ms. Griffin and Ms. Mork will be hosting different sessions to meet the you.
  • The meeting will be an opportunity to hear from our community.
  • There will be four sessions. You can pick one to attend.
 
Parent Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences- September 22nd-26th

  • Teachers will be available for parent teacher conferences the week of September 22nd thru the 26th.
  • Be on the look out for communication on scheduling a conference.
  • Conferences can be in person or by phone.
  • Teachers will review beginning of the year testing, previous STAAR scores, and how your student is doing these first few weeks of school
  • We welcome and want your participation. We are aiming to reach our goal of 100% participation in conferences
